Seeking a Principal Analog/Mixed-Signal Designer to define, design, evaluate, analyze, and debug Analog and Mixed Signal Integrated circuits intended for Automotive and Industrial systems. In this role you will determine best design and simulation practices, analyze and implement behavioral models to explore design tradeoffs, and lead transistor-level design of to meet product requirements. Strong analog design skills, a strong foundation in Semiconductor device physics and creative problem-solving skills are essential for this position. Power Management IC design experience is a plus. Candidate should be a quick learner and self-motivated with strong technical and communication skills.
In this position you will lead the design, simulation, test, and documentation of state-of-the-art Power Management products. You will:

  • Leading design development from concept datasheet to production
  • Working with Systems Engineering to define key blocks and systems
  • Lead the transistor-level design phase and mentor junior design engineers in the process
  • Use various software environments for the behavioral modeling and verification of complex mixed-signal integrated circuit systems and develop top level simulation plan to verify datasheet specifications.
  • Provide guidance and supervise layout
  • Collaborate with Product and Systems Engineers during silicon evaluation and test development
  • Design integrated circuit blocks such as amplifiers, comparators, bandgap circuits, oscillators, DC/DC converters, and switched capacitor converters.
  • Verify operation of new products in laboratory testing, including designing required test hardware and software.
  • Evaluate and debug circuits at the IC level.

Qualifications

  • MSEE with 6+ years or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience in analog/mixed signal IC design
  • Proficient using Cadence design tools
  • Experience in precision Analog CMOS, BiCMOS, Bipolar and DMOS design
