onsemi’s Intelligent Sensing Group is hiring an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design engineer to help us develop next generation CMOS image sensors for the Automotive and Industrial markets. These unique products are key components in the growing fields of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Autonomous Vehicles, and Robotics. The successful candidate will participate in the design of complex CMOS integrated circuits.

Analytical approach to problem solving is required. CMOS imaging products provide challenging learning opportunities where performance, power, and reliability are all leading edge.

Among other responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for the transistor level design, simulation, and validation in silicon of many complex analog blocks and systems. The individual will be heavily involved with the team in integrating these key components into the larger image sensor system.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
  • Strong understanding of analog CMOS circuit theory
  • Experience with Verilog-AMS, Python, or other language is strongly preferred
  • Must be familiar with op-amps, bandgaps, current mirrors, and other analog blocks
  • Experience with data converters is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to contribute independently and in a team environment
  • Must be familiar with CAD tools such as Cadence/Mentor
  • Experience with measurement equipment in a laboratory environment is a plus
