Job Responsibilities
As an Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer you will:
- Contribute to the architectural definition of the SERDES macro
- Investigate and contribute to develop analog/RF building blocks aimed to improve power, area and performance
- Oversee physical layout to minimize the effect of parasitics, device stress, and process variation
- Document design features
- Definition and validation of the experimental characterization procedures of circuit prototypes
- Contribute to the test plans for characterization and production ATE
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.
- Experience in Analog design
- Knowledge and experience on high speed design techniques
- Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
- Analog custom layout
- Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Verilog, etc.
- Lab testing skills to evaluate the prototype unit to the design specification
- Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
