The Scientific Instruments Team develops next generation solutions that transform molecules into insights in applications such as food safety, air and water quality, drug discovery and development as well as genetic sciences. Job Duties
A successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing verification strategies for mixed-signal designs, including behavioral modeling of analog circuits. The candidate is expected to use behavioral models to enable comprehensive, top-down, metric-driven verification of new analog and mixed-signal designs. The position is part of a cross-functional team and close interaction with analog and digital designers as well as other verification engineers is expected.
Required Skills
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Fundamental grasp of Analog and Digital Circuit Design
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Tcl, or Perl
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Matlab
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Some experience with simulation tool suites such as Cadence or Synopsys
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of standard verification flows including UVM, testbench automation, coverage-based metrics
- Knowledge of verification languages like Verilog/ Verilog A, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, System-C, etc
- Experience designing and modelling analog and mixed-signal circuits
