Senior Analog/RF IC Engineer

Responsibilities
• Develop detailed circuit specs and analyze performance, power, noise, and area using modeling techniques.
• Utilize SPICE simulations and Python for circuit performance analysis and post-processing.
• Implement transistor-level circuit design and integrate with higher-level blocks.
• Perform mixed-signal transient, AC, PSS, and sensitivity simulations.
• Design and integrate high-frequency synthesizers for RF clock generation and distribution.
• Create algorithms for circuit calibration and optimization.
• Familiarity with RF clock generation and distribution synthesizer design.
• Desired experience in RF circuit design: VCOs, mixers, active filters, LNAs.
• Proficiency in EM simulation and parasitic extraction for RF circuit design.
• Model I/O drivers/receivers for advanced high-speed interfaces.
• Lab-based circuit performance measurement, calibration, and Python/C-based measurement development.

Qualifications
• 10 years’ analog and/or mixed-signal IC design experience required.
• Practical expertise in mixed-signal IC design, including ADC, DAC, low-power clocking, OTA, and filter design.
• Profound grasp of analog circuit principles, low-power layout, and mixed-signal simulation.
• Strong background in advanced semiconductor technologies, especially FDX22SOI or similar nodes.
• Proficient in EDA tools like Cadence/Synopsys for schematic, simulation, layout, and verification.
• Skilled in Verilog-A/AMS for behavioral modeling and system-level verification.
• Experience with low-power techniques, clock distribution, and on-chip interconnects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex mixed-signal challenges.
• Knowledge of digital design concepts, including RTL coding and logic synthesis.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum and network analyzers.
