Director Program Management MEMS Sensors (f/m/div)

As a Director Program Management MEMS Sensors, you are the decision maker on fulfilling customer needs and shape the future of automotive industry. In your new role you will:

  • Lead an interdisciplinary product family core team consisting of e.g. Marketing, Concept Engineering, Project Management and other functions which will analyze business opportunities and work on upcoming customer requests
  • Be in direct contact with our customers from the product idea until production ramp up
  • Be responsible for the projects business case feasibility and quality as well as in general for defining the customer communication strategy and its execution
  • Set strategic project targets (budget, time, scope), make strategic decisions in the project and align with the Project Portfolio Manager about changes to strategic targets
  • Approve or reject project plans together with justifying risk-mitigation-plans
  • Accept and release key milestones as well as decide on change requests influencing project targets

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and accept responsibility for common goals and put the team’s results above your own interests.

You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results, stay aware of costs, and commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you set yourself ambitious goals, remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A strong technical skill set based on a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management
  • At least 8 years of work experience in Marketing, Project Management or in a Semiconductor R&D function
  • Experience in a Lead Engineer function as well as in developing microelectronics products
  • Very good communication and conflict solving skills
  • Willingness to be visible to the customers and development centers and to travel frequently
  • Excellent English and good German communication skills
