NXP Semiconductors currently has an opening for a New Graduate Design Engineer in the Smart Analog Front End & Interface team in Catania.
The candidate will be joining an experienced analog design team to design and develop the building blocks for smart Analog Front End. This person will be responsible for designing, simulating and evaluating the developed IPs. The major responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, in the description to the following Job Summary
Job Summary:
- Leading design and simulation of different analog blocks
- Defining layout floorplans and working closely with layout engineers
- IC bench evaluation and validation
- Supporting technical issues, design documentation and other design aspects
- Analog design using Cadence tools
- Collaborating with other teams to successfully bring up new products
- Fundamentals of transistor level analog integrated circuits and device physics.
It is also welcome to have experience in the following:
- 6+ months experience in CMOS/BiCMOS analog design
- Knowledge in deep sub-micron process and basic of CMOS/BiCMOS analog design (current source, current mirrors, bandgap, OTA, CMOS switch, comparator…)
- Knowledge on System tools such as Matlab
- Knowledge in Verilog and/or Verilog-A
- Have knowledge on Microcontroller (architecture/programming).
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- PhD is a plus.
- English (read, spoken, written) is a must.
