Our Client:

Our client is a world-leading manufacturing firm, a trusted provider in Semiconductor/Electronics space. With more than 300 operating locations worldwide and more than 40 manufacturing sites, they are seeking to hire an Analog IC Design Engineer for their team in Singapore.

The Analog IC Design Engineer is accountable for development of Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits from specifications to prototypes.
The Responsibilities

  •  Translate specifications into Analog/Mixed-Signal circuit designs
  •  Develop and prototype Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits
  •  Perform system-level analysis and evaluation
  •  Contribute to full-chip architecture design, analysis, modeling, simulation, and integration
  •  Create schematics for Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits
  •  Perform corner simulations and post-layout simulations
  •  Collaborate closely with layout engineers for physical implementation and chip floor planning
  •  Ensure proper layout considerations are integrated into designs
  •  Be responsible for post-layout extraction and parasitic analysis
  •  Work collaboratively with other designers, Chip Architects, and layout engineers to achieve full- chip integration
  •  Participate in place and route activities
  •  Contribute to top-level verification and tape-out processes

The Requirements

  •  Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics with an excellent technical background in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design
  •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMOS Analog IC design and simulation
  •  Proficient in Analog IC design involving two or more of the following blocks: low noise pre-amplifier, CMOS Gigahertz Oscillator, switched capacitor circuit, LDO, Differential Amplifier, comparator, Opamp, TIA, Bandgap Reference, and high-frequency full-wave rectifier
  •  Solid design knowledge in ESD and latch-up mitigation techniques
  •  Experience with isolator devices (capacitive-coupler or optical-coupler) and associated circuits
  •  Familiarity with sigma-delta modulators and IO drivers
  •  Proficiency in relevant Analog IC design and simulation tools, such as Spice or its equivalent
  •  Basic understanding and capability to develop simple design-related scripts using common script languages like Perl, Tcl, MATLAB, or Cadence Skill, etc.
  •  Strong team player with effective communication skills
  •  Able to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and bring creative solutions to design challenges
