RF Design Engineer - Coruña

 For our Retail Division, based in La Coruña, we are looking for an RF Design Engineer to be an active part of our New RFID Innovation Center.

What You Will Do

Create new RFID tag product concepts, Design UHF (and HF) tag antennas, participate in product development process of RFID tags, execute application tests for different RFID end-use applications, and provide RF specialist service for the organization.
How You Will Do It

Designing of UHF and HF tags based on requirements

  • Antenna CAD drawings and simulations
  • Prototype fabrication management (by laboratory or external company)
  • Prototype analysis and variant selection
  • Qualification and pre-production sample analysis and approval
Product Data Management (PDM) related to antenna designs (incl. ensure that all antenna designs have needed quality and performance targets and tolerances)
Application testing capability development, application testing and reporting
Develop and maintain RF laboratory capabilities (RF measurement equipment and environment) and safe working methods
Provide RF and RFID specialist advices and recommendations to team
Handling Integrated Circuit related issues both internally and towards external UHF and HF IC suppliers.
Participate in creating and evaluating innovations and IPR
Project management of small product development projects and subprojects
Participation in product technology and manufacturing technology development projects, process development projects and product development projects.
Operative problem solving including technical problems from manufacturing and with claims and issues of our customers globally. This role includes supporting Failure analysis and corrective action planning.
Location: A Coruña.
Hybrid role (3 days per week in the office)

What We Are Looking For

Technical education (for example BSc/MSc/PhD) from suitable field (for example RF engineering, microwave engineering, electronics engineering or similar

Minimum 3 years of RFID experience and/or antenna design experience

RF simulation knowledge

CST or other simulation sw

Communications skills

English language command

Team skills
