RF Electronics Engineer

ONSITE PART_TIME MID_LEVEL
Description:We are seeking an experienced RF engineer to become a member of the Integrated Circuit and T/R Module design team. The engineer will significantly contribute to the concept, design, test, and release to production the transceiver modules and associated microwave antenna sub-assemblies for RADAR and other military systems that span the Lockheed Martin RMS lines of business. This includes component selection, performing detailed cascade simulation & analysis, board design, passive circuit design, and supporting build/test of the designed ICs and RF sub-assemblies.
Basic Qualifications

  •  Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, or related RF/microwave/electromagnetic disciplines.
  •  Experience with RFIC design/layout/analysis tools such as ADS, AWR, Cadence, Synopsis, HFSS, MATLAB, etc.
  •  Experience performing cascade analysis, component selection, and component requirement definition or decomposition
  •  Knowledge of RF and analog performance metrics such as noise, linearity, impedance matching, and power compression
  •  RF testing experience with IC and printed circuit board products
  •  Excellent verbal and written skills
  •  Excellent people and technical leadership skills
  •  Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance

Desired Skills

  •  Experience with passive circuit designs (impedance transformation, divider/combiner network, etc.)
  •  Understanding of EM effect and experience using EM simulation software such as Axiem, Momentum, Sonnet, or HFSS
  •  Experience with Altium, Mentor, and LabView
  •  Project Management / Earned Value

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
