Join our growing team in Nuremberg, Germany or Vimercate, Italy! We are looking for talented high-frequency Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Designer to join our team.

The best part? Your scope will be to co-design cutting-edge high-speed drivers, TIAs, and control systems for photonics components used in optical communication applications.

What You Will Learn And Contribute To

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

  •  Collaborate with our experienced designers for the architecture definition of electronic circuits co-designed with photonic integrated circuits 
  •  Lead or support the design, layout, and verification of electronic circuits for specific high-speed communication products 
  •  Work closely with our photonic designers to ensure seamless integration of electronic and photonic circuits 
  •  Qualify and test electronic circuits to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements 
  •  Contribute to the development of cutting-edge communication products by pushing the boundaries of co-design between electronic and photonic circuits. 

Your Skills And Experience

You have:

  •  MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical work experience.
  •  Background in high-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design, with fundamental concepts such as: circuit noise and linearity, linear amplifiers, low noise linear TIAs, AGC circuits, linear equilizers.
  •  Experience in testing and debugging analog and mixed signal high-speed ICs as well as experience with physical design and verification (passive component design using industry-standard tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and HFSS, EMX).
  •  You are fluent in spoken and written English
  •  Good communication skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  •  Familiarity with CMOS design and manufacturing; knowledge of SiGe and BiCMOS.
  •  Experience with silicon photonics and/or optical communications.
  •  Publications and a record of innovation.
  •  Familiarity with digital flow (synthesis, static timing, place and route), particularly in the context of state machines for mixed-signal control systems.
  •  Background in wireline communication and equalization; familiarity with SerDes, CDR, PLL, ADC, and/or DAC.
