In your new role you will:
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, by communicating effectively, facilitating knowledge sharing, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines;
- Establish/maintain a verification environment that suits the requirements for embedded Firmware verification (incl. debugging, dedicated verification of specific feature, automated regression runs);
- Be responsible for architectural/platform decision making in close collaboration with SoC- and Firmware-architects in order to optimize HW-SW split for verification;
- Pro-actively drive methodology in order to cover testing/verification aspects (e.g. robustness, dependability, timing);
- Assure maintainability and scalability of provided solution in order to support cost-efficiency goal;
- Ensure the quality and standard compliance such as ISO26262 etc.;
- Identify and mitigate all the technical risk in area of responsibilities within the project scope;
- Actively research and evaluate new verification methodologies, propose innovative solutions, and make informed verification decisions to keep the firmware-verification at state of the art.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation Engineering, or similar field of studies;
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar technical field;
- Hands-on experience on simulation and regression tools (e.g. Cadence xCelium, Cadence VManager);
- Experience in test case planning, design and development with a proven track of records in respective testing activities;
- Expert knowledge of state-of-the-art firmware verification methods;
- Expert knowledge of Python, TCL;
- Good knowledge of VHDL and Verilog (understanding the design and development/maintenance of testbenches);
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog for verification using advanced verification methodologies;
- Capability of extracting design information (HW/SW) independently from given specification;
- Experience with Linux;
- Experience in firmware verification or firmware know-how is beneficial;
- Fluency in English.
