The Group:

ADI's Sustainable Energy Conversion Solutions team is focused on providing innovative solutions for the fast-growing electric vehicle and energy markets, wherever power is converted DC/DC, AC/DC or DC/AC. The urgency to address the climate change challenge

is changing the pace of innovation in these markets. ADI’s Sustainable Energy team is developing the technologies and solutions to position ADI as leaders in this high growth area.

The Position:

Analog Devices is seeking a STAFF ANALOG IC DESIGN ENGINEER to join the talented and motivated multi-disciplinary Sustainable Energy Conversion Solutions team. The successful candidate will work with a global team of innovators, collaborating with internal technology groups and external technology vendors to help to define and develop new industry-leading mixed-signal IC products with sustainability impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of analog subsystems for mixed-signal products with sustainability impact, working with a team of analog designers to define specifications, develop architectures and execute designs, including transistor-level design, behavioral modeling, pre-silicon verification and documentation, and post-silicon validation
  • Develop optimized solutions with consideration of performance, area, power, risk, resources, and schedule
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development flows and methodologies for the team
  • Provide guidance and support to other functions, including the layout team, test development, and bench evaluation
  • Support technical feasibility investigations and advanced development projects
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 7+ years of analog circuit design experience
  • Experience in complex IC and IP developments
  • Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
  • Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
  • Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
  • Good understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow and top-down development methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Power management design experience, especially switching DC-DC converters
  • Python scripting ability
  • Analog behavioral modeling experience
  • Experience with automotive and functional safety development

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $139,035 to $197,858.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
